An art show celebrating the creativity and intelligence of
individuals with autism. We will feature art by those with autism and others
passionate about finding solutions to unlocking the creativity and intelligence
of those with autism. Fifty-percent of your art purchase will go to the
artists and fifty-percent to benefit the Golden Hat Foundation. Buttonwood Art
Space will take no commission on this show.
Artists interested in being juried into this show should apply
through our Artists Login page. Deadline: January 22, 2014. Delivery deadline
for accepted artwork is February 3, 2014. Preference for visually stimulating
and textural pieces, video and audio works, but all art considered (no
nudes).

Hat Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating
barriers for people with autism around the world, and creating an environment
that holds these individuals as intellectually capable. The mission of the Golden
Hat Foundation is the establishment of innovative campuses that offer
people with autism the opportunity to learn to communicate, receive an
education, job training and enjoy recreational activities, all within a
supportive social network. When given a suitable education and the means to
communicate effectively, people with autism can truly realize their dreams.
